Reenactor Evening Entertainment!
After the site closes to the public, reenactors are invited to enjoy live folk music at the Miner's Cabin!
Fiddle and Banjo music will be brought to you from 6:30 to 8:30pm by the Charlotte Folk Society. The Miner's Cabin will be open with locally made root beer and period sutlery items for sale! All proceeds will benefit the Capital Campaign to restore the Alexander Cabin on site. The cabin, originally owned by Ezekiel Alexander is the oldest standing log cabin in Mecklenburg County and will be a great tool for sharing local history with visitors.
