SESSIONS LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN! Time: All school aged camps begin at 10:00am and end at 12:30pm, please send lunch. The preschool program is 10:00 to 11:30am. All sessions are held rain or shine! Cost: Unless otherwise noted, all school age camps are $75 for five weeks (there is a sibling discount). Preschool programs are $55 for five weeks. Sibling Discount: For each school aged child in addition to the first, there is a $15 discount. For each preschooler in addition to the first, there is a $10 discount.

No preschool camp in May Preschoolers 9:30am to 11:00am Each week the children will help feed the farm animals, make a craft, and participate in a fun history related activity (games, stories, hikes, and more)! School Aged Children/Students 10:00am to 12:30pm *Week 1- Farm Life! Learn about the life of the yeoman farmer by seeing 19th century woodworking techniques put into action. Then experience the life of the farmer’s wife and children as you churn butter, make toys out of farm materials, and more! *Week 2- Centuries of Nature! See nature from the perspective of 19th century naturalists! Go on a hike, start a nature journal, and make your own beeswax lip balm! *Week 3- Open Hearth Cooking! Learn how to cook over an open hearth, just as the settlers did, and make your own lunch! *Week 4- The World of Fiber! Learn to card and spin wool, work a tape loom, and make your own bag by finger weaving! *Week 5- Digging for Clues! An Introduction to archaeology- finding clues from the past. Go on an actual sandbox dig and work with artifacts found at Latta!
