Jane Latta's Gingercake

2 cups Molasses
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Lard (Crisco is OK)
1 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Ginger
2 teaspoons Soda
4 Eggs
2 pints Flour

Beat sugar & shortening, add eggs & molasses. Sift other dry ingredients & add to batter alternately with milk.

Bake in two or three 9x13 inch pans at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
