Volunteers

Latta Needs You!

As a non-profit site, Latta is always in need of volunteer support. There are so many ways to volunteer at Latta! Many of our volunteers help with special events, living history demonstrations, school programs, and daily tours. Those who prefer behind the scene work help in the office or sew period clothing. If you are interested in volunteering, please print the Volunteer Application below and return it to the site. We look forward to meeting you!

Internship Opportunities:

Historic Latta Plantation will be looking to fill internship rolls throughout the 2016 year.  We are looking for candidates with a passion for history and education who work well with students.  All interns will learn the basics of day to day operations within the historic site including tours, gift shop operations, special event planning, education programming, and summer camp coordination.

This is an ideal internship for someone interested in education, history, or the travel and tourism industry.  We are flexible and work with school requirements as needed.  Please contact David Clay, Executive Director, for more information at 704-875-2312 ext. 303 or by email at dclay@lattaplantation.org
