Bean  &  Sausage  Casserole




  ½   cup  Onion  [chopped]
  ½   cup  Carrots [sliced]
  ½   cup  Celery  [sliced]
  1  clove Garlic  [minced]
  2   tbl  Oil
  8-10 oz  Polish Kielbasa  [sliced]
  1   can  Tomato sauce  [8 oz]
  31/3 cup  Baby Lima Beans  [drained, cooked or canned]
  1/8  tsp  Thyme
  1/8  tsp  Salt
 
 

Saute onion, carrot, celery and garlic in oil until tender.  Remove vegetables from pan.

Brown sausage in same skillet.

Combine vegetables, sausage, tomato sauce, beans, thyme and salt.

Pour into 2 quart baking dish.  Cover and bake at  350° about 1 hour.
