Caramel  Pecan  Brownies



 50      Caramels
 2/3 cup  Evaporated milk
 1  box  German Chocolate cake mix
 ¾  cup  Butter  [melted]
 1  cup  Chocolate Chips
 1  cup  Pecans  [chopped]
 
 

Melt Caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and set aside.

Combine cake mix, butter, and remaining 1/3 cup milk.  Blend well.

Spread ½ batter in 9x13 greased pan.  Batter will be stiff.

Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 350° until barely firm.

Remove from oven.

Sprinkle chips and pecans over top and drizzle with caramel.

Spread rest of batter over top and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
