Chicken - Waldorf  Salad


 2/3  cup  Mayonaise
 2   tbl  Cider Vinegar
 1   tsp  Salt
 4-5 cup  Chicken  [cooked, cut-up]
 1   cup  Celery  [sliced]
 1   cup  Green Pepper  [minced]
 2   tsp  Onion  [grated]
 2   cup  Red Apples  [unpeeled, diced]
 2/3  cup  Walnuts [chopped]
          Lettuce Leaves
 

In a large bowl with fork, combine mayonaise, vinegar and salt.

Add remaining ingredients except lettuce leaves; toss well.

Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
 
 

TO SERVE:

On chilled platter, arrange lettuce leaves.  Lightly pile salad on lettuce leaves.
