Chocolate  Cherry  Bars



 1  box  Chocolate Cake Mix
 2       Eggs
 1  can  Cherry pie filling  [21 oz]
 1  tsp  Almond extract
 

Mix all ingredients together by hand and spread in a greased and floured 10½ by 15½ inch jelly-roll pan.

Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
 
 
 

FROSTING :

 5  tbl  Butter or margarine
 ¾  cup  Sugar
 1/3 cup  Milk
 6  oz   Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
 
 

In a saucepan combine butter sugar and milk; stir and bring to boil, boil for 1 minute.

Remove from heat and stir in chips until melted & smooth.

Spread on warm cake.
