Cinnamon  Rolls



 2  pkg  Yeast  [dry, Fleischmann's]
 ½  cup  Sugar
 2  cup  Warm water  [NOT HOT]
 2  tsp  Salt
 4  cups Flour
 1       Egg
 ¼  cup  Crisco oil
 2½ cup  Flour
 
 

Combine yeast, water, sugar, salt.

Add 4 cups flour mix well. Add egg and oil and blend.

Add the additional flour (if sticky add a bit more flour).

Knead until  flour is blended.

Oil surface of large mixing bowl.  Place dough in bowl smooth side up, and let rise for 1½ to 2 hours.

Form rolls by pinching walnut size portion from dough, dip in melted Parkay, then cinnamon and sugar mixture, stretch and tie in knot.

Let rolls rise 1½hours.

Bake at 350° for 11 minutes.  Ice while warm.
 
 
 

ICING:

 3  tbl  Parkay margarine
         Powdered sugar
 1  tsp  Vanilla
         Hot water
