Corned  Beef  &  Cabbage


 

 1        Corned Beef Brisket  [3-4 lbs]
 ½   cup  Brown Sugar
 1-2 tbl  Mustard
          Potatoes
          Cabbage
 
 

Place Brisket in large pan and cover with water.

Bring to a boil.  Cover pan & simmer for 1 hour per pound.

When tender remove brisket from water.

Mix brown sugar and mustard and spread on top of corn beef.

Bake in oven 20 to 30 minutes at 325°.
 

Cut potatoes and cabbage into 1½ inch chunks and add to water left from cooking the brisket.

Cook 20 minutes or until tender.
