All Purpose Flour 1 cup

Baking Powder
1¼ cup Sugar

tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 Egg

tsp Ground Nutmeg
1 tsp Vanilla
Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients just until well combined.
Cover dough, chill 3 hours.
Divide dough in half; roll out 1/8 inch thick on well-floured surface.
Cut with cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
Repeat with remaining dough.
Bake in pre-heated 375° oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove and cool on wire racks. Decorate as desired.
Yield: 5 dozen (2 inch)
