French  Toast





Beat together with fork until blended:

 2        Eggs
 ¼   tsp  Salt
 1   tbl  Sugar
 ½   cup  Milk
 ¼   tsp  Nutmeg
         -or-
 ½   tsp  Vanilla
 
 

Preheat skillet to 380°, Add 2 tlbs butter and tilt to grease bottom.

Dip slices of bread into egg mixture and fry at once until browned on both sides.  Fry full pan.

Sprinkle lightly with confectioner's sugar.
