Butter or Margarine

All-purpose Flour

cup Confectioner's Sugar
Preheat oven to 350°.
With an electric mixer beat the butter, flour and sugar until the mixture holds together and forms a dough.
Press over bottom of a greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake 15 minutes until light
golden and firm when touched.
TOPPING:

Eggs
2 cup
Sugar
¼
cup All-purpose Flour
1 tsp
Baking Powder
2 tsp
Grated Lemon peel
1/3
cup Lemon juice
Beat all ingredients until blended. Pour over base.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and set.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Dust with confectioner's sugar before cutting bars.
Cut into 24 pieces.
