Onion  Rings




 6    Medium    Bermuda Onions
 1 cup + 2 Tbl  All-purpose Flour
 ½    tsp       Salt
 1              Egg  [slightly beaten]
 1    cup       Milk
 2    Tbl       Salad Oil
 
 

Cut onions into slices ¼ inch thick.  Separate into rings.

Combine flour, salt, egg, milk and salad oil.

Beat together just till dry ingredients are well moistened.

Coat onion rings with batter.

Fry a few at a time in deep hot fat, stirring once to separate rings.

When rings are golden, drain on paper towels.
