Pears [sliced, 4 cups]

Lemon juice

Gingersnap Cookies [crushed]

cup Brown sugar [packed]
6 tbl
Butter
½
tsp Salt
1 tsp
Cinnamon
Cream [optional]
Sprinkle sliced pears with lemon juice and place in 9-inch pie pan or baking dish.
Work remaining ingredients, except cream, together with pastry blender or fork unitl crumbly.
Spread over pears.
Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot or cold with cream
if desired. Serves 6.
