Peppermint  Bark  Candy




 2  lbs Chocolate  [any color or flavor]
 1  lb  Peppermint Chips  [same for other chips as well]
 
 

Melt chocolate with just enough heat to melt.

Do not get chocolate too hot or it will ruin.

You may use a double boiler, electric skillet, or microwave.

After melting the chocolate, pour in chips, nuts, etc. and stir until thoroughly mixed.

Spread as thin as possible on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.

This recipe makes two large cookie sheets.

Place the cookie sheets in refrigerator or put aside until hard.

Peel waxed paper off the back and break into bite size pieces.

Does not need refrigeration.  Will be fine for months if kept cool and dry.
