Strawberry  Pie

   1  8-inch Pie shell  [cooled]
   1  pint Strawberries  [washed]

Fill pie crust with berries.  (do not sweeten) 
 
 
 

 SYRUP:

   1  cup  Sugar
   1  cup  Water
   4  tbl  Cornstarch
   1/8 tsp  Salt
   1  tbl  Red food coloring

   4  tbl  Strawberry JELL-O
 
 
 

Mix and boil slowly till thick.  Stir in 4 tlbs only STRAWBERRY JELL-O.

Let cool.  Pour over fresh strawberries in pie shell.
