Shrimp  &  Dressing





   24      Fresh Large Shrimp

Dressing for each 8 shrimp:

   1  tube RITZ Crackers  [crushed]
   ½  tsp  Salt
   ½  tsp  Pepper
   1  tbl  Cheese  [your choice]
   1  tbl  Italian Seasoning
   ¼  tsp  Garlic Powder
   2  tbl  Green Pepper  [minced]
   2  tbl  Onion  [minced]
   1  lb   Butter
 
 

Bring water and salt to a boil ; cook shrimp for 2 minutes.

Drain, peel and clean shrimp.  Split and place in buttered baking dish.

Mix all dressing ingredients, keeping aside ½ lb butter.

Place dressing on shrimp when they are cool.

Broil in oven until dressing starts to darken.

If prepared ahead, cover dish and warm in 250° to 300° oven for 15 minutes before broiling.

Add remaining butter (melted) over top and serve warm.
