Southern  Pecan  Pie
                           
 
 

 ½  cup  Sugar
 1  cup  Dark corn syrup
 ¼  tsp  Salt
 1  tbl  Flour
 2       Eggs
 1  tsp  Vanilla extract
 1  tbl  Butter  [melted]
 1¼ cup  Pecan halves

 1       9-inch Pie shell  [unbaked]
 
 

Beat sugar, salt, syrup, flour and eggs together.

Add vanilla, melted butter and pecans.

Pour into pie shell.   Bake at 300° for 1 hour or until set.
