Chicken Coop

The raised-floor chicken coop is a new structure but is based on an old design.

A dominique rooster looks out from inside the coop. Behind him you can see the rear opening which leads out to the chicken pen. The Latta chickens probably ran free and foraged for food. The chickens now on the plantation are penned to keep them safe from predators living in the park.
