| The log barn was brought to Historic
Latta Plantation from South Carolina. It contains four
enclosed animal pens and one open pen, as well as a
feed and tack room and overhead storage. There is a
center alley that runs from front to back of the building.
The picture on the right shows the left front corner
of the pole barn. The door is the entrance to one of
the four enclosed pens. The picture below it gives a
better view of the open pen.
Straw and hay is stored above the rafters and gourds
are hung from the rafters to dry.
