239th Anniversary of the Battle of Charlotte


Join us for our annual Revolutionary War weekend and experience the Battle of Charlotte with historic encampments and a battle each day. Learn why Charlotte was called “The Hornet’s Nest of Rebellion.” Visit the oldest log cabin in Mecklenburg County which stood in the very spot Lord Cornwallis’ army attempted to siege Charlottetown.

10am-4pm both days with a battle reenactment at 2pm

Admission: $10 Adults, $9 Seniors/Students. Members and ages 5 and under, free.
