Folk Life Festival

November 5th, 2016 (10am-4pm)

Homegrown, handmade, and local vendors all open for business during this craft and folk arts festival. The Latta home will be an open-house, the plantation grounds are self-guided, the museum and farm buildings will also be open for viewing. Enjoy live historical demonstrations and see primitive works in the making. Kick off the holiday season with some early shopping while enjoying the fall foliage in a beautiful historic setting. 

Bring extra cash to enjoy a lunch by Tenders Fresh Foods, a pint from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery,  and a funnel cake from Anna's Sweet Treats. Live bluegrass music by Southern Express at  11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 in front of the Carriage Barn.

Admission includes all living history demonstrations, house & grounds self-guided tours, live music, and more. $4 Adults, $3 Seniors & Students, Children 5 and under are FREE.
