One Hundred Years of Christmas

Skip out on the hectic black-Friday shopping and instead bring your family to Historic Latta for a day full of holiday cheer.  Open both the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving for the annual Christmas living history event which is sure to be a highlight of the season. See the circa 1800 plantation home and buildings decorated in period holiday décor. See dressed re-enactors as they demonstrate primitive activities in preparation for the Christmas holiday. See how festivities changed within the one hundred years between the colonial days to the antebellum ways. Fun for the entire family- picnicking available. Bring cash (no ATM) to shop with our Christmas Vendor Village and Food Vendors.

Admission: $9 Adults, $8 Seniors/Students, Children 5 and under are FREE


Hourly House Tours and Tar Heel Tours are suspended for the day due to special event. The house closes for the day at 4pm.
